TOUR INFORMATION

A 10 nights / 11 days adventure tour including unlimited fun and challenge to one of the remotest regions of Himachal Pradesh, via Kinnaur and Spiti valley.
It involves visiting remote valleys, villages and crossing over high mountain passes- Kunzam La (), Rothang La(3980mt) providing spectacular views of snow capped peaks, rugged terrains and old monasteries. The tour starts from Delhi to Shimla which was once the summer capital of India during the British era and then continue to the Trans Himalayan Regions of Kinnaur and Spiti.

  1. 7:00 AM Day 01-

    Arrival at Shimla
    Arrive Delhi station or airport to Shimla (350 kms 7 hrs)
    Pickup from Delhi station or airport and drive to Shimla.

  2. 8:00 AM DAY 02-

    Shimla – local sightseeing

    Morning after breakfast visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and Jakhoo temple, Christ Church, The Ridge, The Mall. Afternoon free for individual activity. Overnight at hotel.

  3. 9:00 AM DAY 03-

    Shimla to Sangla/ Chitkul via Sarahan ( 270 km 9 hrs)

    Morning after breakfast drive from Shimla to Chitkul, enroute visit Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. Evening on arrival check-in at the camp.

  4. 10:00 AM DAY 04-

    After breakfast drive to Sangla valley. Visit remote villages of Rackcham and Chitkul villages. Overnight at camp.

  5. 11:00 AM DAY 05-

    Sangla to Nako (130 km 4-5 hrs)

    Morning visit Kamru village and fort. Later continue drive to Nako. On arrival check-in at the camp. Evening free to explore Nako village beautifully located on the banks of a small lake.

  6. 8:00 PM DAY 06-

    Nako to Kaza (115 kms 3-4 hrs)

    Morning after breakfast drive to Kaza enroute visit the famous Tabo monastery known as ’The Ajanta of Himalayas’. After visiting the monastery, drive to Dhankar monastery.(optional)

  7. 8:00 PM DAY 07-

    Kaza sight-seeing (full day)

    Morning visit Demul, Komic, Hikkim, Langza.

  8. 8:00 PM DAY 08

    In Kaza – visit Ki Monastery and Kiber village

    Full day sight-seeing to Pin Valley.

  9. Day9 DAY 09-
    Kaza to Manali over Kunzum and Rohtang Pass (218 km 10 hrs)
    Early morning check out hotel /Camp and drive to Manali enroute morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. This centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m. Crossing Losar village and also crossing two passes Kunzum & Rohtang Pass. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel/Camp.
  10. Day10 DAY 10-
    In Manali – visit local sightseeing – departure to Delhi
    Morning half day tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple and Vashisht. Afternoon half day tour visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery (closed on mondays) and some other old temples in Naggar village. Evening drive to Delhi
  11. Day11 DAY 11-
    Delhi airport drop  to board flight back home . End of tour!
