Spiti is a priceless gift of mother nature to the world in the form of clean environment and picturesque landscapes complemented by pristine Himalayan lakes and monasteries perched on sky-piercing cliffs overlooking Spiti and Pin Rivers. When compared to its better half Lahaul, Spiti has a completely different terrain with less green patches and more deserted patches dotted with identical, whitewashed mud houses forming small settlements. Grassy slopes and tree line comprising of apple orchards start disappearing as soon as you enter into Spiti Valley.
